The Aliens & Flames project was present in a prescribed burning action within the Intermunicipal Plan for Prescribed Burning in the Coimbra Region on the 4th of May 2021, in the Serra do Bidueiro in Vila Nova de Poiares. The purpose of the action was to collect data resulting from the burning of Hakea sericea existing in the plot that was treated.
This action was also part of the practical lessons of the 7th edition of the Prescribed Burning course of the Coimbra College of Agriculture.
